New “Star Wars” toys were introduced by LucasFilm and YouTube pop culture icon Chris Pirillo during an ‘unboxing’ event at LucasFilm’s Presidio headquarters Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015 in advance of the highly anticipated release of the new film, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” The ‘unboxing’ event was part of an 18-hour long process which was live streamed and “Star Wars” fans can begin purchasing the new toys at midnight at selected Disney Stores, including the one in San Francisco.
